We should like to inform you that last Thursday, 8 September 2005, at the Consulate of of the United States of America, a solidarity vigil of Women in Black (Vienna) and Friends was held in support of Cindy Sheehan, the mother of a soldier, Casey, who was killed during his term of duty in the occupation of Iraq.
For your convenience I attach herewith the flyer for the vigil and the Declaration of Women in Black, supported by 750 women from 44 countries who attended the Women in Black Conference held in Jerusalem in August 2005.
